For a great example of a Mapping Mash Up, go to http://beta.weatherbonk.com/. It is still in beta version but it is still a great site. This Mapping Mash Up takes weather information from many different sites and puts it in one site. You can see satelite images of the map and you can see the map with local street names. You can zoom in to see your town's information. Take a look. It's more interactive than weather.com.

I can see that the map is from Google Maps and the weather information from weather.com. I always get the weather forecast from the weather.com. It is not so convenient when I am going to travel somewhere. This website can tell me the weather conditions of all places along my trip. The "mesh up" technology is really useful. Thank you for sharing this wonderful website with us.

By the way, this "mush up" idea is very powerful. I was told before someone came up with an idea to combine the pencil abd rubber together. And later this product became a large industry. It is also basically "mush up".

Thanks for the link Kalpana! This is a great example of "mash up" technology. I can see myself using this site to have a better idea of the weather.
